Michael E. DiViesti age 63, former Newburgh, New York resident died Thursday September 23, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Michael was born on January 13, 1958 at St Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, New York. His Childhood home was in Walden, NY. His residence had been in Honesdale with his wife Barbara. Through the years Michael's life work was in Construction, auto body repair, and recently had been a supervisor at the Honesdale, PA Walmart. Michael was very Patriotic, he loved his country. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, horseshoes, and wood crafting, making corn hole games was his latest passion. Surviving are his five children: Shirley, Michael Jr, Kristi, Anthony, and Victoria, and three stepson's Tommy, Michael, and Kyle. Michael has nine grandchildren. His siblings are Brother Alfred and Sisters Lena, Frieda, Elizabeth, Margaret, and step sisters, Audrey and Connie. Michael has eight Aunts and Uncles, numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He is predeceased by his loving wife Barbara Cosgrove DiViesti, whom he married on October 7, 2001. Barbara died three days before him on Sept 20, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Pa. He is also predeceased by his parents Esther and Alfred and step sister Rosemary Conklin. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main St Honesdale, Pa 18431 Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service is pending. The family wishes donations in Michaels name be given to your favorite charity at this time.
