Lewis B. Reagan, 92 of Bethany Village, Bethany died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 . He was married to the late Marie L. Reagan. Born in Honesdale he was the son of the late Eugene and Nellie Bea Reagan. Lewis served in the United States Army Air Corps and was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Honesdale. He was very active in Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout and received the Silver Beaver Award. In 1964 Lewis attended the Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge. He was the assistant scout master for Troop 104 in Honesdale and a Troop Committeeman and served as an assistant District Commissioner and District Commissioner of the Boy Scouts Lake District Council. He enjoyed square dancing and had been active in the Rare Squares. He is survived by two sons, Robert Reagan and his wife Ruth Ann of Beach Lake and James Reagan and his wife Joanne of Coatsville; a sister, Josephine Opett of Carbondale; four grandchildren, Tracy Reagan of State College, Paula Wehrmann and her husband Kenneth of Honesdale, James Patrick Reagan and his wife Amber of St. Louis, Jessica Reagan of Coatesville; two great grandchildren Matthew and Maya Wehrmann; four step-grandchildren, Tim Bryant of Honesdale, Chad Bryant of Honesdale, William Bryant of Staffordsville, VA and Richard Bryant of Lancaster, Pa; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Townsend and Helen Villaume; a brother Eugene Reagan and a granddaughter, Jennifer Reagan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale with the Rev. Kenneth Buckwalter officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM Interment will be Saturday in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Honesdale. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Garden at Bethany Village, 150 Noble Lane, Bethany, Pa 18431 or to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran, Honesdale, PA 18431.
