Anna Mae Curtis Obituary

Anna Mae Curtis, 99, of Lebanon Township, Rileyville went to join her late husband Edward, on Christmas night. He died Jan. 18, 1994 and they were married June 21, 1941. Anna Mae had lived almost 80 years at the family farm with her son and daughter-in-law who were her caregivers. Born in Clinton Township. she was the daughter of the late Jay and Ava Deming Robinson of Aldenville. Anna Mae graduated from Aldenville High School and worked for many years at W. T. Grant Co. in Honesdale. Later she retired from Fashion Bug, Honesdale. She always looked forward to her favorite TV shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Anna Mae especially enjoyed farm life and in the summer she could be found in the hay field or fixing fence. She was always busy and never idle. She is survived by four children: 3 sons, Laurence and his wife Joanne at home , Alan and his wife Margaret, Pleasant Mount, Eric and his companion Kathy, Curtis Valley; daughter, Linda Meredith, Honesdale; a sister, Arlene Olver, Honesdale; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Robinson and three sisters: Olive Grunski, Ruth Kennedy, and Florence Robinson. Private funeral services were held from the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale and burial was in the East Dyberry Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton Center Baptist Church, Waymart, PA.
