Marie Ruth Crocker Obituary

Marie R. Crocker, 84, Honesdale died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center of natural causes. She was preceded i death by her husband Richard Gary Crocker in 1992.

Born in Honesdale she was the daughter the late Joseph and Ruth Bunting Heichelbeck. Marie graduated from Honesdale High School in 1955 and worked for many years at father's chainsaw sales and repair business in Honesdale. She later worked at K-Mart in Honesdale until retiring. She enjoyed home crafts, especially ceramics and was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by three daughters: Donna Heberling, Prompton, Shari Allen, Vine Grove, Kentucky Melanie Glucknis , Lake Ariel, , and; six grandchildren : Allison Wolfe, Stacy Wentzel, Michael Hallas, Jr., Jessica Hallas, Tristen Allen, and Natalie Glucknis; 10 great grandchildren: Chloe, Mia, Cooper, Luke,Scott, Parker, Evelyn, Alex, Ashley, and Abigail. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Williams and Tamsen Heichelbeck.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Presbyterian Church.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Allen Memorial Health Care Center for their exceptional care and attention given to Marie.
