Barbara Bashe died May 12, 2022, after 86 years of living life to its' fullest. She was born in New York City, the daughter of the late Walter and Rhea Morse. Barbara is survived by her children Steven, Donna, and Jack; their loving spouses Gayle, Alan, and Melissa; and her grandchildren Michael, Corey, Adam, Johanna, Cody, Jesse, Dalton, and Samara. In her last year she celebrated the joyous occasions of Johanna's marriage to Will, and Jesse to Brooke. Barbara is known to many as Nurse Barbara. Her 60-year nursing career was a passion that included work in emergency rooms, a pediatric medical practice, a pediatric mental health facility, and summer camps. Barbara surrounded herself with close friends. Many of those friendships were lifelong. She treasured her family and will be missed by her nieces, nephew, cousins, and extended family. She was always organizing gatherings and maintained an active social calendar. She enjoyed games and was an avid bridge player. Barbara's lifelong dedication to the Jewish community included leadership roles with Hadassah Nurses Council and the synagogues she affiliated with. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She can now join her dear husband Robert who was the love of her life.
