Andrew L. Gorel, 69 of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, passed away from health complication at home Monday night August 22, 2022. His loving wife is former Ethel Bartlow. They would have been married 48 years November 13th. They met in high school, fell in love their senior year, and married later that year. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School, class of 1974. Andy enjoyed antique cars and an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Though being able to tell the stories about the catch of the day with those who stopped by to visit or that phone call to check in on you he may have enjoyed more. He is survived by three children, Andrew Gorel, Jr. and his wife Kim of Honesdale, Teresa Gorel of Colorado, and Eddie Gorel of Florida. Three grandchildren; Trent, Tanner, and Trevor, four step-grandchildren; Chris, Nick, Cody, and Meagan, and four step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters; Adele Parnell of Carbondale, Sophie Dunkle of Shippensburg, Mary Hardler of Shippensburg, and Ann Lau of Nevada, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In keeping with Andy's wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services. All who wish to honor his life are invited to share any hunting and fishing stories with your loved ones, as well as, the family would welcome you to stop by the house to share those fishing stories and any other fond memory.
