Obituary of Donald P. Kuhns

Sergeant Donald P. Kuhns, U.S. Army, Retired, 58, of Honesdale, PA, died Tuesday morning, April 17, 2012 at home. He is survived by his wife, the former Christy A. Collins. They were married in 1977. Born on September 4, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Donald and Anna Murray Kuhns. Donald served in the United States Army during conflicts including Vietnam, Persian Gulf, and Somalia. He is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer Kuhns-Miller and Annette Kuhns, both of Honesdale; two grandchildren, John Kuhns-Miller and Zackary Kuhns-Miller; his mother-in-law, Nancy Collins; four siblings, Anna Walko of Texas, Barbara Hamm of California, Ralph and Jay Kuhns, both of Pittsburgh. Private Interment will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A.
