James W Johnson 73, passed away at the Gardens at East Meadows,Wilkes Barre January 3,2023


Born on June 21,1949, Honesdale Pa. Son of the late Jesse L and Gertrude Kerber Johnson, he graduated from Honesdale High School in 1969. After graduation he joined the Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He worked at Moore Business Forms for many years until they closed. He then worked for Cinaram until retirement. His joy was his Dodge Trucks, he always talked very highly of B&B Dodge. THe also loved to fish, gamble, and tell stories about his trips.


He is survived by his 3 brothers, Jesse wife Marilyn, John wife Karen and Joel all of Honesdale. His 5 sisters and their husbands Judy husband Tom Tennessee, Jeanne husband Corky Honesdale, Joni Yatsonsky husband Gene Honesdale, Jill Flynn and husband Steve Bernville Pa and Janie Clemo and companion Pat, St Mary's Ga. Also his cousin Susan Kerber Palmer, husband Richard and their three sons Michael,Stephen and Jeremy who he considered to be his very close family. Many nieces and nephews.


A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment Smith Hill Cemetery Honesdale.
