Kenneth Kromer Obituary

Kenneth H. Kromer age 80, of Honesdale, passed away Thursday January 26, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 41 years the former Linda Cocchini.



Kenneth was born September 1942 in Ossining, NY to Charles Kromer and Lisalotte Schultz Shook. He attended Preston High School in Lakewood Pennsylvania before enlisting in the US Army. After discharge he resided in Honesdale, PA where he lived throughout his adult life. Kenny was employed as truck driver for Penn DOT for several years before being hired by PPL who he worked with for over three decades until his retirement. While employed by PPL, he obtained his Associates degree in Business Administration from the University of Scranton.



After retirement Ken especially enjoyed time spent with his family, traveling and his daily walks.


He had a soft spot for animals and would carry treats for neighborhood dogs. He was always busy with handyman projects. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Honesdale.



He is survived by his wife Linda, son Michael Kromer of Scranton, daughter Patricia Kromer of Scranton and his sisters Lily Bauman and Carol Endriss of Harthausen Germany.



Visitation will be held at Bryant's Funeral Home on February 18, 2023 from 11am to 12pm with a memorial service held immediately after. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wayne County Public Library.
