Obituary of Anna T. Bonham

Please share a memory of Anna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Friday, March 10, 2023, Anna T. Bonham, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at home in Bethany, PA. She was 92. Born in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert and Estella (Hendy) Thayer, she was a graduate of East High School, class of 1949. Anna was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Honesdale and was an active volunteer for the Wayne County Childrens Christmas Bureau for many years. Her hobbies included toll painting, ceramics, jigsaw puzzles and watching football games. She loved her family, her dogs, and Christmas especially passing out the stockings that she thoughtfully and lovingly filled each year. Anna will always be remembered for the cards she faithfully sent to family and friends on birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. She sowed much love and kindness through her beautiful smile and quiet, gentle ways. We are forever grateful to have been a part of her life and are counting the days until we share hugs in heaven with "Mimi" and Jesus. Surviving loved ones include: daughter Brenda Schwab, daughter Nancy Cush and husband Thomas, son John Bonham and wife Sylvia, Dennis Cush and wife Nicole, sister Roberta Thayer in Akron, Ohio (age 96), and three grandchildren: Nicole Cush, Luke Schwab and Jesse Schwab as well as many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale.
