Elsa E. Myers of Honesdale, PA, passed away on May 1, 2023 at Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Better known as Corky to her family and friends she was a kind and generous person. Corky was a dedicated employee first at the Maple City Restaurant originally owned by her Mom Elsie Fulkerson. Through the years, she worked at the Honesdale Golf Club, and Wayne County Office of Aging. She truly enjoyed her time preparing meals for the seniors, and considered her co workers her family. Corky enjoyed baking special treats for all to enjoy, old cowboy movies, line dancing, cruises and casinos. Whenever asked how she was her response was always, "Just Spiffy"!

Corky is survived by her brother James Fulkerson, his wife Terri, her special aunt Gladys, and her nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim and Terri would like to thank family friend, Deby Gumpper for the countless hours she spent visiting and caring for Corky, and acting on behalf of the family when necessary. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center and Wayne Memorial Hospice for their care and support. As per Corky's wishes there will be no viewing and interment will be at the family's discretion.
