William "Bill" Louis Pykus, 73, of Cold Springs, was called home to be with the lord on May 25th, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Bill was born on January 30th, 1950 in Honesdale, PA to the late Alice Utegg and Louis Pykus. Bill graduated from Honesdale High School in 1967. Shortly after graduating, Bill started his business of Bill Pykus and Sons Excavating.
Bill was a rugged, hardworking man who dedicated his life and pride to Bill Pykus and Sons Excavating. Along with his successful business, Bill loved hunting with his two sons, granddaughter, and the rest of the Windy Knob Hunting Club. Bill took great pride in the family farm, his exquisite John Deere tractor collection, and found happiness operating a dozer or excavator.
Bill is predeceased by his parents. Surviving him are his loving sons, Bill Pykus Jr., Tony Pykus (Emma), and their mother Maureen Pykus, brother Ron (Beth) Pykus, granddaughter Maressa Pykus-Hector (Cody), great granddaughter Marcella Rae Hector, nephew Charles Pykus, and niece Samantha Pykus.
Bill will be missed deeply by all who loved him.
As per Bill's request, no funeral service will be held.
