Margaret Cecilia Johnson, 81 of Waymart passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. She was a widower of Donald Johnson who passed away in 1991. Born August 21, 1942 in Philadelphia, Margaret had a long career as a nurse aid.
Margaret enjoyed gardening and watching the wildlife. She loved receiving visits from her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Donald Johnson and wife of Honesdale, Albert Johnson of Equinunk, Christopher Johnson and wife, Dawn Ursino and husband of Tennessee; and her sister Mary, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per Margaret's wishes their will not be a ceremony.
Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home Honesdale, Pa.
