Maria G. Normann, of Honesdale PA, passed away peacefully at 89 years of age in the early morning hours of Friday, October 13, 2023. Her loving husband, Norvald J. Normann, preceded her in death on June 7, 2020.

Maria was born on January 24, 1934, as one of 16 children to Joseph and Anna Mauric. In 1950, she arrived at Ellis Island, eventually settling in New Jersey and becoming a U.S. citizen in 1956. Maria was a hardworking individual who loved her family. She was very proud of her citizenship, and cherished her country deeply.

Maria is survived by her two children, Kenneth Guzzi (Olivia) and Susan Ace (Elvin), as well as her 4 remaining siblings. She held a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To them, she was not just Maria; she was "Noni," a name that resonated with affection and fond memories. They will carry her legacy proudly in their hearts.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
