I had a cabin just 2 houses away from Eddie. He was an awesome guy! He welcomed my family, and we spent hours talking, and him sharing about all the paintings he did.
I moved to Montana and sold my cabin. I always felt bad, as he seemingly looked forward to our visits. I, along with the rest of the "neighborhood" used to bring him food. I think the cats who ate the leftovers were just as fed as we were!
He was my friend, I will miss him.
