James Nicholas Diehl, 57, of Cherry Ridge passed away on October 17, 2023.
Born December 8, 1965 in Honesdale, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Wilma ( Rosencrance) Diehl.
He graduated from the Honesdale High School and worked as a CNA at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center and Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center. Jim was a member of the Peckville Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his wife Darlene (Shaffer) Diehl, Cherry Ridge; two children, Jonathan Diehl of Middletown, NY and Jennifer Diehl of Honesdale; two step children, Jonathon Miller of Mount Cobb and DeAndra Miller of Honesdale; three sisters, Jan (Joe) Kooistra, Jackie (Gene) Mohrmann, and Jeri Hopkins; one brother Jeff Diehl.
He was preceded in death by a sister Jaime Mohrmann.
As per his request private services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale.
