Thomas Daniel Figura, 65, Thompson, passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 following a brief illness.

Born in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Daniel T. and Mae Thomas Figura. Tom graduated from Hancock High School in 1977. He was a machinist and a mechanic. Tom was a very talented man who loved working with his hands to create things that inspired him. He was a community man who was there for anyone near or far that needed him. He was skilled with wood working, welding, and machinery; you could find him tinkering in his garage on many projects.

He is survived by a daughter, Shauna D. Figura and her partner, Jason Williams, Larksville, Pa. a son, Thomas M. Figura and his wife Julianne, Uniondale; three grandchildren: Brianna Williams, Tyler Williams and Grayson Figura; two brothers: David Figura, Honesdale and Dan Figura and his wife Patty, Thompson; many many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Mark Figura and a sister-in-law, Yong Hui.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale with Rev. Eric Funk of the Central United Methodist Church, Honesdale officiating.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00- 3:00 pm.
