Obituary of Mabel Grace Minnick

Mabel Grace (Wadge) Minnick, 83, of Lake Ariel, Pa passed away on August 11, 2024 peacefully at her home with her loving dog Reese by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert John Minnick who passed away in August of 2023. Mabel was born in Honesdale, PA to Raymond Wadge and Lena (Kizer) Wadge on August 7, 1941. She attended school in Honesdale. Mabel worked at Laura Janes Factory, Katz Factory and the Bakery at Weis Market in Honesdale. Mabel loved to bake cakes, pies, etc. for all. She also enjoyed painting ceramics and spending time with family and friends. Mabel is survived by her sons and their families; Michael Robert Minnick and companion Janice; Mark Anthony Minnick and wife Pamela, grandson Robert Anthony Minnick his wife Samantha and their children, Isabella, Brantley and Brayden, Granddaughter Kimberly Diane (Minnick) Bayly and her husband Kevin and their children, Kevin and Tyler. She was preceded in death by her son Ralph John Minnick in December of 2020 and is survived by his 2 Daughters, Aresa (Minnick) Roskoski and her husband David, and children, Dylan Card and David, Jr. and Juli Minnick and her family; and his son Ralph John (RJ) Minnick and his family. Mabel is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and especially enjoyed visits from her nephew Nick Bock and his wife Chris. She was the last descendent of the Raymond and Lena Wadge Family. Her brothers were, Art, Lloyd and Raymond (Butch) Wadge and her sister was Margret (Peggy) Bowen. The Family will be planting trees in memory of Robert and Mabel in their orchard.
