William Robert (Bill) Adams, 91 of Tyler Hill, PA, passed away on Oct. 3, 2024 after a brief illness. Bill (Dad) was born at home in Stalker, PA to Robert L. Adams and Alice (Rauner) Adams on March 18, 1933. He was a proud owner of Chestnut Ridge Farm with his son, Karl for 68 years. He took great pride in the activities and appearance of his farm and his animals. He was a kind, helpful and friendly neighbor to many. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, bowling, fishing, farming, gardening and sports. His favorite he enjoyed the most was visiting with family and friends. He was involved in the Army Rifle Team in Germany, DV Bowling Team in Callicoon, NY, Damascus School Board, various farm organizations, Damascus Twp. Planning Commission (1996-2021) and local hunting groups. He is survived by his wife of over 67 years Helen Mary (Hellmers) Adams, Sons; William Karl Adams and his wife Penny, Tyler Hill, PA and Dean Edward Adams and his wife Wendy of Laurenburg, NC, Brothers Robert, Braman, PA, Gary and his wife Angela of SC, step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Granddaughter, Kristina Sue Adams, his sister Donna Adams and a brother Ralph Adams. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Ellen Memorial Health Care Center and all of their wonderful and caring staff. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Arthur A Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main St., Honesdale. Visitation will also be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 from 10-11 AM with a service and Military Honors beginning at 11 AM at the funeral home.
