Obituary of Marlene C Snook

Marlene C. Snook, 78 of Waymart, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James R Snook, they were married January 6, 1968. Born November 13, 1946 in Olean, NY she was a daughter of the late Laverne and Elizabeth (Drew) Langs. She graduated from Dubois High School and was employed as a clerical worker and prior to that worked in retail. She was a member of the LCBC Church Dickson City Campus and enjoyed collecting birds, crafting, was an avid reader of her bible and other books, and loved spoiling her grandkids. Also surviving are four children; April Mohrmann and her husband Gene of Prompton, Gregory Snook and wife Genevieve of Moosic, Jonathan Snook and wife Laura Beth, and Joel Snook and his wife Joanna of Old Forge; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; a sister Jacqueline Whitten, and two brothers Clair and James Langs. A Memorial service will be held at a future date. Private interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, Pa. .Arrangements are attended by the the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale
