Paul Thomas Carpenter, 76, of Browndale, PA passed away, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Ann (Ziobro) Carpenter, they were married June 6, 1970.
Born October 2, 1948, in Pittston, PA he was a son of the late Paul Francis and Ruth (Watson) Carpenter.
He graduated from then West Pittston High School. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army as a Sgt. with the 552 Military Police Company. Tom was employed with the Honesdale Water company for 30 years and after that was employed by Reilly Associates as an inspector.
He was a member of the West Pittston American Legion Post 542 and the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Also surviving are two sons; Sean Carpenter and his wife Paula of Doylestown, PA, and Colin Carpenter and his wife Christine of WV.;4 grandchildren, Jimmy and Emma Carpenter and Ashley and Cole Hamilton.
As per his request private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
