Joseph Scudillo Obituary

Joseph L. Scudillo, 74, of Honesdale died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital Honesdale after an illness. He is survived by his wife the former Joyce Crist. Born in Lodi, NJ son of the late Anthony Scudillo and Lucy Petretta Cracolici, he was employed for many years as a Correctional Officer for Wayne County. He also operated Tony's Soda Bar on Main Street Honesdale in the late 1960's with his brother-in-law William Crist. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking and was an avid Yankee, Giant and Penn State fan. He is also survived by two sons: Joseph J. Scudillo, Honesdale and Kurt W. Scudillo, Taylor; two sisters: Camilla Rose Kammerier and her husband Jerry of Honesdale and Grace McMenami of Ithaca, NY. He was preceded in death by a step-father Salvatore Caracolici. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 with Rev. Paul Hagedorn officiating. Friends may visit on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. and Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 8:00 PM on Saturday.
