Reynolds Date of Death: August 10, 2012 ____________________________________________________________________________ Lynn E. Reynolds, 91, Pleasant Mount, PA, died Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA after an illness. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Irene Lloyd who died in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Ogden Scotch Reynolds of Pleasant Mount. Born on January 11, 1921 in Lakewood, PA, he was the son of the late Carroll George Reynolds and Esther Lloyd Reynolds. Following graduation from Lakewood High School, Lynn served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a Manager for GLF Agway for over 40 years in various locations. Lynn was well known as a good cook and baker, and was especially noted for his famous Chicken Barbeques. He was fond of gardening and thoroughly enjoyed taking care of his lawn. Lynn was a caregiver to many people throughout his life and will be remembered as a hardworking, kind and caring man. He is also survived by four children: Lloyd C. Reynolds of Langhorne, PA, Lynn "Sonny" Reynolds of Honesdale, Barbara Stiles and her husband Alan of North Carolina, and Larry Reynolds and his companion Kathleen of Georgia; two sisters: Elizabeth Canon of New York State, and Grace Burke of South Carolina; he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Reynolds. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren: Amy Taylor, Adam Reynolds and his partner, Adam Grosswirth, Lesley Reynolds, Jeffrey Reynolds and his wife Carolyn, Kelly Sanfilippo and her husband Rocco, Michael Reynolds, Thomas Fitzsimmons, Stacey Holly and her husband Steve, Melissa Reynolds, Lynne Reynolds, and Sandra Reynolds; ten great grandchildren: Kassidy and Kaelin Taylor, Landon Reynolds, Amber and Johnathan White, Kayla and Sierra Sanfilippo, and Joseph and Ashley Holly; step children: Gary Scotch and his wife Melanie, Derwin Scotch and his wife Laurie, Wayne Scotch, Sherry Millis and her husband Rob; several step-grandchildren; and step great-grandchildren. Other special people in his life include: Susan, Doug, Denise, David, Shen, and all their families in Canada; his special caregivers: Sandra, Becky, and Lynne Reynolds; and the Wayne Memorial Home Health and VNA Hospice. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale PA 18431. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
