Liddie Tissie Wilcox, 85 of Honesdale, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at home. She was married to the late Ivan Wilcox, Sr. Born in Archbald, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Martha (Miller) Brown. Liddie was employed at Katz Underwear Factory, Honesdale and was a seamstress for Newman's Clothing Store, Honesdale for many years. She was a member of the Cold Springs-Rileyville Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aid, and the Hickory Grange, Rileyville. She was a former 4-H leader and belonged to the Antique Auto Club of America. Liddie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Liddie is survived by two sons, Ivan L. Wilcox Jr. of Honesdale and Alan R. Wilcox and his wife Mari of Honesdale; three daughters, Patricia A. Eber of Pittston, Joan M. Jackson and her husband Richard of Factoryville, and Mary L. Evarts and her husband Michael of Honesdale; a brother, Oliver Brown of Honesdale; a sister, Alzina Young of Prompton; ten grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Patrice, Monique, Richard, Morris, Josh, and Wesley and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Adrian Brown. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale with the Rev. Douglas Lee officiating Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Interment will be Thursday in East Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wayne Memorial Hospice 601 Park Street, Honesdale, Pa 18431.
