Obituary of William Stiles

William Stiles, 63, of Howell, New Jersey, formerly of Aldenville, died Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2015 at Centra State Hospital in Freehold, New Jersey after a battle against cancer. Born April 11, 1951 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Edgar G. and Louise E. Coons Stiles. He served in the United States Marine Corps where he was employed in the electronics department for many years following his active duty Honorable Discharge. He is survived by two brothers: Gerald Stiles and his wife Diane of Canton, Pennsylvania, and Davy Stiles of Honesdale; and several nieces and nephews and their families. He was also preceded in death by his sister: Janice Winters, and two brothers: Daniel Stiles and Robert Stiles. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. at the Aldenville Baptist Church, 971 Creek Drive Prompton, PA (Aldenville) 18456 with Pastor Gary Gilpin officiating. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Billy's memory to the Aldenville Baptist Church. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431. Burial with Military Honors will be in Clinton Center Cemetery in May. .
