Dear Cousin Betty
We only recently found out about your passing - and what you suffered prior. We are your 'Aunt Verna' side of your family, and though we didn't spend a lot of time with you after both your mom and my Nana Verna passed on, we still think of you with great fondness and love. When my mom, Faye, died in 2003, you gave us support and kindness - and I started an occasional email communication with you - and yearly Christmas updates. I knew you as a fair, kind, and generous person - and it was my honor to have known you.
We had always thought to try to get together when my husband and I lived in Dingman's Ferry area...but time passes too quickly and then we moved to Ontario and lost opportunity. I am sad for that, and that I didn't know to try to give you support during your illness.
Please give my nana and mom my love, as you surely are together.
love,
robyn walters (Davey-Smith, Snyder families)

So many memories of conventions, regionals and our trip to Mexico. In late years we didn't see each other that often but when we did, we picked up where we left off the last time! You had a fabulous birthday party for your 70th! I'll always remember our telephone conversation this spring. You were confident that God was in control and whatever happened would be okay. You were very brave and a witness to His love. I treasure my memories of our times together. I'll miss you, my friend. Love, Judy

Hi Bet
You left us so quickly, it is still hard to grasp the reality that you have gone on ahead. I will miss you and our phone conversations and the discussions we have had about the family. The family gatherings will not be the same without you.
We will all miss you so very much, but we can still save the wings for you at Christmas. Dinner without your pumpkin pie and pistashio salad will be a challenge for the girls. The empty chair at our table will be a reminder of our saddness but also joy for you, in our hearts as you celebrate the birth of our Lord with Him. As we spoke of time lost over the years, one day we will have eternity to spend together worshipping the King. and maybe continue our conversations. (No one has ever come back to say if that is possible) I love you, Bet and that does not stop with deatg. Until we meet again.
Love you
Phyl

Dear Aunt Betty, it was an Honor and a Privilege to be there for you and to help you threw the journey of life that you and I took together over the past 6 months, and through it all you showed what a strong and dedicated Woman you were for the desire of life, that meant so much to you . and how much of yourself you gave to so many people around you. I Love you and Admire you for fighting so hard . I think of how excited you would get when Terry and I came to pick you up and take you back home again after another one of our journeys. I know that you Loved me very much, that went without saying... On Friday when I arrived at the hospital and I looked at you and you looked at me , and you told me you Loved me I knew in my heart, that would be the last time I would hear you say those words.. Thank You from the bottom of my heart, for saving the strength to tell me that you loved me that last and final time. I love you Heaps and Heaps, Mountains and Mountains as we use to tell each other... I will Miss you So Very much... But I know you are in a Wonderful place now with the Lord ..All My Love Forever, Love Dennis
